baby Cotton

spew from Increase Mather on Vimeo.

he's a bright sweet kid.
his spew is sweet & sour.

I end the clip with the lullaby that I sing to him to calm him down. the night he
was born, at 9:02pm, he was whisked off to the NICU where he was poked & prodded and left to himself. I stayed around with him and sang this song until he finally calmed down. I eventually had to go to bed at around 1:00 am.
he was 4 hours old.
I didn't want to leave.

Almost there...

Heather at 34 weeks

We're down to just a few more weeks until "D-Day"! I've added a ticker so you can see the count-down. We've got the baby's room just about ready, and Heather has been doing great!

Baby Wish List

Lots of friends have been asking what we need for Baby Bunting, so it is our hope that this information will be helpful to you. We are not going to find out if we are having a boy or a girl, so we are mostly looking for more gender neutral items and colors. We were generously given some very nice larger items such as a crib, a bassinet, a baby monitor, and an infant car seat. We have several nice photo albums already, and lots of 0-3 size clothing.

Most of our basic wish list items are listed on a registry with Target.

We plan to do cloth diapering using all-in-one Fuzzi Bunz cloth diapers. We have created a registry for these with the Fuzzi Bunz Store. On the website, click on the "Gifts and Registries" link on the left side of the page. Under "creator's name", simply type in "Heather Bunting" - no other information is needed. Click on "Baby Bunting", and you can view the items that we need.

We would like to have a comfortable baby sling for everyday baby-carrying and to assist with nursing. You can find nice ones here called Maya Wraps that are lightly padded and adjustable. We like several of the colors, including 30 (purple), 32 (orange), 34 (raspberry), 37 (bright stripe), and 65 (bright red). Both Heather and Daniel would wear a size medium.

Heather has ordered some excellent quality nursing clothes from a company called Expressiva. She now has a couple of long sleeve tops that will be great for modest nursing in public. She has created a wish list of several more items that she would like to eventually have. By clicking on "Wish List" and entering our last name, you can view the clothes and the sizes that she has chosen.

We use some wonderful goat milk soaps that we love made by a stay at home mom. She has started selling her all-natural soaps for babies now too on her Country Store website. These soaps are wonderfully moisturizing and soothing for sensitive skin. We prefer using these gentle products, especially for our baby.

We are so excited that in three short months we will be holding our precious baby in our arms! Thank you to all of you who share in our joy! Children are truly a blessing from the Lord!
